Virtual Calcutta Run 2021 confirmed!

For all of you Calcutta Run enthusiasts and supporters, as you probably have guessed by now, Calcutta Run won’t be taking place this May at Blackhall Place due to public health restrictions. Spring is here with the prospect of brighter days ahead and we are delighted to announce that Virtual Calcutta Run will take place this September 17th – 26th. Like last year, everyone taking part can do so whenever and wherever they like over ten days throughout Ireland and around the world. So please spread the word among friends, family and colleagues.

Last year’s inaugural virtual Calcutta Run in October was a huge success, beyond anything we could have hoped for. The 2020 Run raised €285,000 to alleviate homelessness in Ireland and Kolkata, funding Peter McVerry Trust and The Hope Foundation projects.

Let’s raise the bar even higher this year by running, walking or cycling together virtually to Kolkata and back again. 40 firm teams signed up last year and there is no reason why we can’t double that number this year if we all do our bit.

We will be opening registration in June so watch this space for updates.

Let’s do what we do well as a profession, in helping those who need our help.

Do Good, Feel Good.
