Calcutta Run is back with a bang, returning to Blackhall Place on May 28! Members of the legal profession, their families and friends will fundraise together to help alleviate homelessness. On top of helping a great cause, it will be an opportunity to meet each other in person, run or walk the Blackhall Place-Phoenix Park route together and to celebrate being reunited with colleagues and friends. The Finish Line Festival at Blackhall Place which hosts the famous BBQ, bar, music, Teddy’s ice cream and kids events will be bigger than ever.
Virtual participation will also be available for those who want to join anywhere and at their own pace from 21-28 May helping two great charities. So please spread the word among friends, family and colleagues.
We will celebrate raising €500,000 virtually over the past two years when we return to Blackhall Place. Both Peter McVerry Trust and The Hope Foundation will be there to outline how the participants generosity enabled various projects to continue. Our target is to raise €300,000 this year, reaching the milestone fundraising target of 5 million euros over 24 years.
Please sign up, join in the fun and to help us to achieve this target.
The Hope Foundation is dedicated to promoting the protection of street and slum children in Calcutta and the most underprivileged in India. HOPE works to effect immediate and lasting change in their lives.
Peter McVerry Trust provides a wide range of services including homeless and housing services, drug treatment and detox services, as well as under-18 residential services to the homeless in Dublin.
You will be sent a PDF sponsorship card to print and use and will be redirected to set up your virtual run fundraising page where you can also track the distance you are running, walking, cycling or hiking from October 30 – November 8th.
