In November 2019 our Calcutta Run Event Coordinator Hilary Kavanagh and committee member Jack Kennedy of A&L Goodbody travelled to Kolkata, India, to witness first-hand how the money raised directly impacts the lives of many children living in HOPE’s homes. They visited 4 of the projects completely funded by money generously raised by Calcutta Run participants and sponsors. Actor Jeremy Irons also visited the projects.

The 2020 website and brand new logo has launched and you can now Sign Up either to the Dublin Run (24 October) or the Cork Run (In October – Date To Be Confirmed). Thanks to all of you who participated in 2019, a staggering €300,000 was raised to fight homelessness in Ireland and Calcutta through the Peter McVerry Trust and The Hope Foundation!
