Sponsorship Amount For Charities
Do I really have to raise €100 as a minimum?
We ask you please to choose your target here. This is a charity run rather than simply a free fun run. To meet our target and help The Hope Foundation and Peter McVerry Trust, we really need you to make the effort. Many people raise far more than €100.
What is the route?
It starts in the Law Society’s headquarters at Blackhall Place and enters the park at the North Circular Road gate and around to the Phoenix monument down by St. Mary’s hospital, around the S-bends and leaves the park at the main Conyngham Rd. entrance and back to Blackhall Place via Arbour Hill.
Can I walk?
Of course. Many of the participants walk or jog and there are a few hundred serious runners.
Will there be water stations on the course?
Yes, there will be 3 water stations at approximately 3km, 6km and 8km marks.
Will there be km/mile markers on the course?
Yes, there is a marker at each kilometre. Please note that the course is slightly longer than 10k (10.3k) so if time is important to you take your time at the 10k marker (Junction of Arbour Hill and Ardree Rd) but continue running or walking to Blackhall Place.
