Thanks to everyone who participated in the 21st Calcutta Run and the 3rd Cycle!
1,110 runners/walkers, 100 cyclists and 110 football players ensured there was a fantastic atmosphere in Blackhall Place on Saturday. The Cork run also took place on Sunday with 150 participants. Runners also hit the streets of New York in the Brooklyn Half Marathon and in Calcutta.
Also thanks to the 200 volunteers who marshalled the run and cycle routes, registered all participants, served pints and burgers and to our sponsors below, Gavin Duffy, the run and cycle committee members and The Law Society of Ireland.
The Calcutta Run idonate page and your own individual pages (unless you already closed it) will remain open until May 31st. The funds you raised will help to change lives of young people in both Ireland and Calcutta through The Hope Foundation and Peter McVerry Trust well.
